UC Hastings Law School Startup Legal Garage in San Francisco is now accepting the applications from tech startups to receive free legal work for the Fall 2021 Semester.
The Startup Legal Garage is a law school experiential learning clinic that provides corporate work and patent work to exciting startups. The clinic partners with supervising attorneys from top Bay Area law firms—including WSGR, DLA Piper, Orrick, Hogan Lovells, Troutman Pepper, Hanson Bridgett, Morrison & Foerster, Pillsbury, and more—to prepare select UC Hastings students for real-world practice with real-world clients.
The startups get free quality legal work overseen and by some of the most prestigious tech attorneys in the world, the students learn their trade from top mentors, and the attorneys are introduced to possible world-changing clients and select law students. They estimate that most startups save around $25-30K in legal fees through their program.
