How do I get my theme park idea off the ground?

QUESTION:

I am looking for some advise. I do not have a company or any business background. My background is in child care. I did in-home child care for many years before having my own twins in 2003.  Along with my love for children, I am also artistic and ceative. When my twins were just 3 years old, we thought up this make beleive amusement park and eventually added a water park. We talked about it all the time, and it seemed that the ideas were endless. I even built them a model of a toddler area with all the ideas we invisioned.

I know this is a great concept, and although I don’t have any busisness background, I can see the potential this could have.  Also I beleive there are big marketing and sponsorship possibilities.  I would like the opportunity to present this idea to the right people  for their professional opinion and advise. I do not have any resourses to take this any further on my own. If you can offer any direction or feedback, I would greatlly appreciate it. Read More...
