FeldThoughts

FeldThoughts is a nice blog for founders.  It lets you into the mind of Brad Feld, a thoughtful VC.   Brad likes early stage tech companies, and his blog offers some good insights and helpful advice to entrepreneurs.

Venture Hacks

I really get a kick out of Venture Hacks.  They have attitude, and they give great advice to startups seeking venture funding.

Venture Hacks is the product of Nivi (bio) and Naval (bio), two self-proclaimed students of life, and their mission is to share the best startup advice they’ve got.

These guys are for real.  They are very connected, and they have founded companies like Epinions; invested $20M in companies like Twitter; helped start companies backed by Sequoia, Benchmark, Kleiner Perkins, and Atlas; and advised many others. Read More...

Venture Beat

Venture Beat is a good resource for tech news aimed at startups.  Their mission is to provide news about innovation for forward-thinking executives.   This means they wind up covering everything from startups getting funded to the latest innovations in technology.

We’re also big fans of Dean Takahashi.  Not only is he a nice guy, he’s a prolific blogger.  GamesBeat, which is a section of VentureBeat focused on the games industry, is a must read if you’re a games startup.   Dean’s newsletter is also a useful summary of game-related headline news.

Lastly, you should check out Entrepreneur’s Corner.  It’s a blog targeted at founders and covers everything from funding to issuing stock options and practical advice.
