Joanna co-founded InterQ, with the goal to make high-quality, cutting edge qualitative and quantitative research accessible to startups, investors, and medium-sized companies. Joanna is passionate about uncovering new insights, helping companies refine their products, and developing impactful branding.

By using qualitative research methods, including focus groups, in-depth interviews, and ethnographic research, Joanna is able to unlock barriers for companies that can have dramatic effects on the success and profitability of their businesses. Joanna is super excited to work with startups at Founder’s Space, guiding new companies into better product development methods so that they don’t have to pivot later on.

Larry Braitman has  been investing, advising, and accelerating the growth of early-stage companies since 1997. He’s now a Venture Advisor at Founders Space.

With Rick Thompson, he co-founded Flycast Communications, where Braitman served as EVP of Business Development. Flycast created the first-ever banner advertising network targeting direct-response buyers. Hulya KocHulya Koc is a globally accredited investor, serial entrepreneur and mentor to American and international entrepreneurs with 40 years of experience.

She began her career as a banker and worked for international banks such as Wells Fargo Bank and continued on to become an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, California. In addition to founding and successfully exiting three companies, Hulya founded two nonprofit organizations. Her most recent exit, an employment agency catering to the childcare vertical, grew to become an industry leader with over 30 offices across the US and was sold to a consortium of US-based private equity firms.

Hulya co-founded the Istanbul Chapter of Keiretsu Forum and also formed its woman investors group, “KAYAK,” a first of its kind in Turkey, after joining Keiretsu Forum’s Bay Area chapter over 10 years ago. Nathan Schor began his IT career as a database programmer, but evolved into sales where he accumulated over three decades of experience, including deploying CRM applications in hundreds of businesses across a wide range of sizes and sectors.

During that time he noticed an increasing number of discoveries in neural based sciences having a direct bearing on influencing people. With multiple disciplines pointing simultaneously toward the singular human brain, more has been discovered about the human brain in the last decade than in all previous history. Shirley has extensive executive-level experience driving increased efficiency and performance across organizational tiers. She has a strong track record of achievements and in building relationships with academic community, executive peers, users, business partners, and external partners both within the United States and internationally.

As an Executive Senior Member and Department Head for Stanford University’s multi-purpose, international research laboratory, she reported to three Directors, in turn, including the Founder, Dr. Wolfgang Panofsky, and the Nobel Laureate Dr. Burton Richtor. She worked “at the pleasure of” the Stanford University President for much of her career and interacted at multiple levels within the $450M research laboratory. Read More...
