Founders Space has partnered with the Games Business Summit in Paris France.

Overview

On September 10th, the Games Business Summit returns to the Porte de Versailles in Paris, at Pavilion 4 of the exhibition park.

This event is organized by the communication agency Games Fed, in partnership with the Paris game developers cluster Capital Games.  It has received the support of many institutions in France and Europe, including the Region Île de France, CNC, DRIRE, Ministere de l’industrie et de l’emploi, Europe, and AFJV.

Last year, more than 400 participants met each other, among them around 143 holders of projects, 107 investors, and 150 different business profiles, over some 250 business appointments.  With more than 90% of participants satisfied with the quality of the speakers, the conference program and the quality of the organization, nearly 92% wanted to renew their participation in 2010.

Games Fed and Capital Game have given them this opportunity, with another conference on subjects related to finance and video game markets, as well as meetings between private investors and project promoters.  To sum up: it emphasizes how serious and lucrative the video game industry has become.
